Hello Friends,
In the months since I left my full-time faculty role at Gordon-Conwell, the trauma-focused practice in Charlotte has continued to grow. At the moment we are still operating under the name Renewed Hope Counseling, but keep an eye out for our upcoming name change! We have also moved locations, into a larger space. You can find us at 7301 Carmel Executive Park Dr., Suite 200 in Charlotte.
I’m happy to introduce you to our newest team member: Brittney Long.
Brittney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, and she enjoys working with all ages from as young as 4 years old to late adulthood. Brittney’s focus areas include anxiety, depression, bipolar, LGBTQIA+ mental health, self-esteem, trauma, and life transitions.
From Brittney: “I’m passionate about helping clients build resilience and quiet those negative thoughts that make them doubt their potential. I enjoy motivating my clients to be the best version of themselves through positive psychology and cognitive-behavioral therapy.”
As you can imagine, Brittney has openings for new clients.
I’ve really appreciated the support I’ve been shown by all of you, and I hope to keep you updated along the way. This newsletter will also be a source of stories from the Therapist’s Chair and information/resources about trauma and relationships.
Regards,
Chris
